I was out this morning from 7-10 and found out the crappies were on the prowl. Fished anywhere from 22-28fow water jumping between 4-5 holes for the first hour or so. After that they tended to be favoring the deeper holes so I set up the shack and finished off the morning in there. All said and done caught 18 and brought home nine, with 2 decent sunnies to boot. Headed back out after i cleean these guys up and switch gears over to walleye’s.
Be careful still. Found some more ice today that was only 4, maybe 5 inches. It was good ice, but still need to be checking where you go
