Just a quick update, I was able to get on the water for a few hours this morning, Because I was by myself I decided to put in the marina side instead of the river ramp but if your going to use those docks wear your boots, you will have to wade through about a foot of water to get on the dock. Wanting to throw cranks this morning , I made my first cast at the rock pile coming out of the marina and a nice 22″ walleye hammered my #5 shad rap 
That was to be my only walleye of the day 
After about a million more casts to shallow water current breaks I called it a day with one small sauger and a couple smallies.
The river is still high and dirty but the water temps are going down so another week should help alot if we don’t get to much rain
