Clinton Lake

Crappies have left the trees and move to main-lake brush-piles. Not really agressive either. Had to resort to minners fished into the middle of the piles. Hits were light but did manage to get 12 nice ones. Most were over 11in but 2 were over 13in. This week will bring some of the coldest temps this fall. Should really pack them into the piles. Soon they’ll get hungrey and start slammin’ jigs again. Temps were in the upper 60’s. <*)}}}><

Yup, I’ve noticed that too….they are getting sluggish around here too. That’s all right, I’ll still chase em!
