I’m just curious. I see that they have stocked Wannahoo. I know that when they started building the lake, they killed all the fish in the system. The question is, what are the fingerlings and fry supposed to eat? Are there enough bugs, worms and plankton to sustain the stockings?

Yes.
New reservoirs are very productive and there will be tons of zooplankton, aquatic insects, etc. for those newly-stocked fish to eat. Also keep in mind that those fish that were stocked will have no competition with existing fish; they will grow fast!
