McConaughy vs. Calamus

    Planning on heading west next weekend. We are trying to decide whether to go to McConaughy or Calamus. Does anyone have any guesses on which lake will have the best bite going on during that time? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    I would say that Calamus would be the best bite out of those two lakes but what about fishing Sutherland or Swanson?

    I have not been to Calamus this year; but by my recollections it might be a week or two early. Just from the past years and the air to water temps.

    I talked to somebody who fished Calamus last weekened. They said the walleye bite was no good. However that was last weekened and only info from one person.
