I was trolling the the weed lines on the west side of Mille Lacs on Fri and Sat nights in 6-8 fow using the same baits, same line counters with same amount of line out, and the same gps lines both nights at the same speeds. Here is the question, Fri night we only have a couple weed snags,Sat night I’m pulling weeds in all night, what changed? As the weeds die off do they release upward?
Thanks in advance for any insight.

The wind direction changed the current ? Therefore changine the direction of which way the weeds we’re swaying ? Maybe need to retune the cranks in case not running straight ? Someone sucked a few million gallons out of Mille Lacs ?

The Rum did seem a little higher coming out of Vineland.

I’ll second the “Current” comment. You had current on friday keeping the weeds layed down. Saturday – no current and they stood up on you. Wind may or may not have played a factor. In other words, it can be dead calm and you can still have some noticable current.
