Anybody have a fishing report? (Same post in Saylorville Forum)

    Its been awfully quite in here. Is that because the Saylorville/Big Creek guys are busy pulling in crappies by the boatload?

    Seriously, anything to report on either Saylorville or Big Creek?

    Until the rain and wind Friday through today, the crappies were on a fair bite. The rain Friday turned the water muddy and I only caught 2 on Saturday. Tried everywhere on the lake. No way I was going out Sunday with 40 mph winds all day. They were suspended back in lost lake about 10- 15 ft. in the main channel. Hadn’t gone up into the coves yet. Jig and minnow were the ticket, don’t know now. Got a few walleyes on the main lake. DINKS. Talked to a few bass fishermen, they also said slow to terrible. Good Luck.

    Thank you Clayfish. I hope to be out there sometime next week… Hopefully another couple of warm days will turn things on.

    You know what they say…even a bad day of fishing…
