I’m looking at utility trailers to haul my ATV this winter. The payload is fine, but not sure about 12” tires? Anybody have real world experience with a 5’x8’ trailer with 12” tires?

Few shorter trips a year is fine but if your gonna be pulling long distances and many times a year bigger tires would be better

Smaller fat tires are common on older snowmobile trailers. Make sure to check the max speed of the tire.
I hated those little tires so much on my snowmobile trailer that I lifted the deck on the axle and put bigger tires on. I don’t trust them at all.
Year 27 on a Sled Bed with the small tires… never a problem. Tire rot/dry gets to them eventually, is all I have ran into. (just replaced the plywood this year)
