Yea, I actually tried to get there the weekend before, but the winds out of the SW came along and made the trip from the nearest landing a little to bumpy for my liking. 5-6 foot rollers. I have also heard some pretty amazing reports from that area.

I would have to agree, you hear of others getting them from time to time, but we saw no other fishing boats that night. We were by ourselves.

Thanks for the tips! I am going to try to get out this weekend possibly. Still some ice on the main part of Thunder Bay. Should I target some shallower warmer bays??
