I’m sure every man wants to ‘length’n’ his strap.
I lengthend mine 12″ in five minutes and life has been good ever since.
October 12, 2012 at 3:57 pm #124815if it’s ‘canned’, why does he have his iowa kill tag on the antler.
Nice buck!!!
May 19, 2012 at 12:58 pm #1069335i got out last night on P8, wind was ok where i was. three runs/one small flathead.
February 7, 2012 at 12:28 pm #118425Here he is with both sides.
Measures: G1-4, G2-7, G3-10, G4-6, BEAM 18, MASS approx 16. = 61 inches.
I think she learned how to hold the shed from all those years of fishing with me. A good picture adds alot of inches
January 24, 2012 at 6:05 pm #117958Nov. 13th 9:30am. I was sitting a stand inbetween two main bedding areas and this guy came though by himself looking for does.

August 29, 2011 at 12:41 pm #109225I think that peacock was around 8lbs. Not the biggest one got, but it was a good picture. Turns out it rains A LOT in the rainforest and makes it tough to get pictures.
I’ve talked to the cops and the humane society on the dogs and they are taking action, they say.
August 15, 2011 at 3:39 pm #108604I use lemon scented ammonia and artificial vanilla extract. Put it in a spray bottle and spray in where i want a scrape. Works really well in the late summer. Cheap and effective. here’s a pic from a camera i checked yesterday that was on a mock scrape.
August 5, 2011 at 3:56 pm #108050i guess 8 acres of standing beans and corn over the winter helps grow them fast.
July 20, 2011 at 12:47 pm #107474first two pictures are of a buck that we’ve been watching for a few years, this year might be the year he’s big enough! The third picture is of him last year. The last picture is a new buck I’ve never seen before. he’s got great mass and some nice tree rakers up front!

August 17, 2010 at 12:44 pm #85472august 12th!!! A friend of mine shot a video from his truck of a big ten at 100 yards with his velvet freshly stripped… And I saw a trail cam pic from buf county that sure looks like the buck was either shed or darn close to doing so. the date on the pic says 7/31 though…. who knows on the pic, but the video is 100 percent accurate.
August 16, 2010 at 6:26 pm #85396I def don’t have any pics with a whole in the ear. I do have one video of a monster ten that could possible be him, but who knows. I only have this one pic of him this year. It will take another pic of him this year for me to truly get completely jacked, otherwise I’ll always have it in the back of my mind that maybe he was just “passing through”…. Pretty unlikely in the summer when their range is ussually at their smallest, but who knows.
January 20, 2010 at 8:04 pm #834369we stayed at el salto lodge. $1400 dollars covered pick up in mazatlan sunday at noon, fishing sunday afternoon, all day mon-fri, and half day sat before they take you back to mazatlan. It also includes your lodging at the lake, three meals a day, and open bar. Addintional expenses were: 15 dollar tips a day for you guide per person, 15 a day for kitchchen staff, hotel room in mazatlan sat night. And airfare. We flew on a suncountry charter out of minneapolis and I think tickets were just under 400. Whole trip was like 2200. you can set it up for as many days as you want though. 7 days was a beating on my body. My forearm was so sore from setting the hook.
