Cedar or green treat for sure! Nothing is completely maintainence free and the PVC does get brittle and will crack and break with time besides doubling the cost of the project.

Hey the way I see it if they suspend everybody who has tested positive we can do away with the minor leagues and all you Minnesota sports fans teams will have a chance at winning. Just remember Braun was caught how many of the athletes out there haven’t been caught or tested for that matter

check with the manufacturer on how they suggest the valleys be run as certainteed will void the warranty of the roof if it is woven that is not their recommended application. Also a thing to remember with vents static vents in your roof create leak points compared to a ridge vent or gable venting. Any hole or obstruction protruding thru your roof is a potential leak. Ridge vent will still work without soffit vents just not as well. Remember hot air rises. there is also the issue of over venting a roof which will cause condensation and rot in your attic. Also causing heat loss due to the stack effect of heat rising to much air moving will draw heat or A/C conditioned air out of your house. good luck

Spotlight is a must. I fish at night quite a bit and usually get a better bite. BTW we run wide open at night whether it be walleye fishing or duck hunting always with at least one spotlight if not two.

i didn’t fish the tournament but was in Alma fishing and it was a tough bite yesterday. But on the other hand how often do you get to fish in shorts and a tee shirt on St. Pat’s day.

All good points most of it is common courtesy. But as stated in the first commandment the key words are “public boat landing” therefore all the taxpayers are paying for it.Sounds to me somebody else should be looking for their own slip as not all of us are professional truck drivers or guides who load their boat everyday. I try my best but the boat dont always go on the trailer right my 63 year old dad aint the fastest at getting down to the boat and i own a boat so i dont have to get my feet wet anymore. Not talking to the fisherman who just pulled in sounds kinda arrogant to me but then again I’m not a guide I dont fish everyday. Just remember common sense and common courtesy are not a gift they are a punishment for as us with it we have to deal with the arrogant pricks that don’t.

Nobody plans to lose their job and it is disheartening but rather than sit at home on unemployment looking for that high paying job people used to have they need to suck up their pride and take a less desirable job. You dont have to like your job it’s just a perk if you do. There are a lot of jobs out there maybe not at 50 k a year but there are jobs. PS does anybody know a female making a 100k a year who owns a truck and boat looking for a cabana boy?

Totally Agree with G Unions protect the lazy man that probably couldn’t hold down a non union job. As for all of us dumb rednecks that dont understand unions or how they work or milk you of money. Hell over here in WI our great governor showed how unions milk the public for thousands and thousands of dollars each year and he had the balls to make the union man pay part of his own way. Im all about buying american but not paying more for less

The city of Eau Claire treid this a few years back and the people who use the landings fought city hall and won because the monies generated went into a park fund to be used at all parks not to the actual boat landings. But the county did institute a launch fee at county landings with monies generated going to the boat landing upkeep and replacement. I do believe they cannot institute the fee unless the money stays there. Fight city hall unless your money stays at the landings

Not here in WI we have around 14-16″ on most lakes and i dont belive you lose hardly any ice at 38 degrees. Try and thaw a turkey in your fridge at 45 to 50 degrees it takes forever plus add the below freezing temps at night the ice is going nowhere

adjust your pilot it is probably set for runnung all three panels not just the one. Probably not a natural gas orifice or you would definetly know it as it would sound like a jet engine and probably wouldnt have a fish house. We had a furnace tech burn up a furnace in a matter of minutes by not converting the orifices to lp

I personally fish below Alma as soon as the ice goes out in the spring. I have fished there for 10-12 years and feel comfortable finding fish and navigating the water plus i know the owner of the Alma bait shop who tries to help put me on fish. I think it is personal preference myself. I’ve seen alot of big eyes come out of Alma and heard alot of big fish up by Red Wing. Alma tends to have less traffic but thats just my opinion.

Sounds like a thermostat to me if it was the waterpump it would over heat even in the cold temps. Not for sure what size a saturn uses but thinking maybe a 165 degree thermostat and u should not be able to touch the heater core. Remember your average home hot water is roughly 120 -130 and anything over 125 can cause scalding and burns. So i would start with a thermostat being that its an under $20 fix.
