I had it happen where I lost it and the DNR checked in on me on the rainy river in March a couple years ago. He just said get a duplicate copy. I had just put new stickers on though and when I stopped at the dmv they actually gave me new ones at no cost since it was the next business day that I stopped and it hadn’t processed through their system yet. Apparently I didn’t heat that side of the boat enough when I stuck it on.

I fish docks a lot when I bass fish. If the dock is occupied by fisherman I swing out and move on to the next one. Anyone that fishes docks and hasn’t clanked one off the dock is lying. If I hook the dock or lift that I was
Casting I just drive up to the dock and unhook (only once having to get out of the boat to do so. And I have definitely hit a few boats. I try to error on the side of caution when fishing around a boat. And when I fishing tonka and there is a 200K plus yacht there I a lot of times don’t even cast at it. I have yet to run into the dock owner that gets mad when you fish their dock, only the friendly how’s fishing or getting any? I hope to never run into the dock owner that thinks they own the lake.

Exactly what happened when my battery went bad in my old boat that only had 1 battery. Most likely going bad.

Never thought to use 2 clamps. I think I’ll just try to get a longer one. I was really hoping someone had tried to put a pdv2 into a terrova mount since the system is so much better.

Got it!!! my auto reset breakers were no longer auto resetting. tried it quick w/o the breakers and the motor sprung to life. set up to use the foot pedal now but if i get ambitious tonight when i get back from getting new breakers I may try to figure out what tripped the breaker. when i installed the ipilot but may just hold off due to wanting to go tomorrow an it being in working condition.

has a sure stop auto reset breaker at the battery. and it was connected to where the foot pedal had been connected before. I am thinking more and more that i may have fried a board.

I will have to start tearing things apart trying to find a breaker. I did try to sync the remote but got nothing as far as response. The remote does turn on but I was unable to sync it. It looks a little like the guy that had the boat before me added some length to the cables. hoping i can find the breaker back behind the gauges as i cannot see one along the transom.

It’s a powerdrive v2 65lb. 24 volt. I don’t see a fuse back there. There was a short protector attached to the end of the positive wire for the trolling motor. I think there is power. Because when I turned it on after re connecting it spun the prop for a split second and died.

I ordered my Ipilot through them this spring. Had no issues with it. They did call me to confirm my shipping address which I thought was odd. Overall very good experience with them.

I have a normal revo toro hs and love it. If you are right hand reeling they have occasionally come on sale 150. But right now I would also suggest the 300ej curado. I have used it and it is a very smooth reel and would work well for the baits you are planning on using. If you decide you want a slower gear ratio the Calcutta 400d is a top choice.

Just found 3600 and 3700 sized boxes that are fit a good amount of spinnerbaits. Now I will be able to complete my tackle box switch over from the hard box to the bag.

Yeah. There are probably a million ways to do it. Right now I still fit in one 3600 size box (barely). I’m relatively new to jig use but much prefer it to the lindy rigging I always did with the grandparents. I am also going to be moving from a hard plastic box to a bag. Which should help the overall organization of things. Do they make a box that would take up 2 spots in the bag for swim baits and spinnerbaits?

Called tuffy today and they didn’t have anything to match my boat. Only had new stuff. Looks like I am going to be going the custom route but gonna wait until it dries up. (If that ever happens)

If you are looking for a dock everts is the only one with a dock. Put in using the Wisconsin channel this weekend and it was just fine.

Thanks guys. I just want to get it looking good again. Got an awesome deal on it and plan on keeping it for a long time. At some point in its life it was always kept in the water and has some pretty good staining going on. If it ever gets warm during the week after the mud goes away that’s my project.

I was also up and down the river today. And only picked up one eye and had an hour and a half fight with something very large that didn’t want to move on 4lb test.
