Great painting Sharon! I too like to paint, more so in the cold months. Here is one I am hoping to finish…once golf season is over!

I love just about anything from Foundation cigars, but particularly Tabernacle havanna seed. Also, New world by AJ. I buy online from Famous Smoke a lot, but recently found Smokedale in Menominee has a great selection and prices.

Nice work B-man, that is some dedication!
Queenswake, it is a little unnerving at times. We would be trying to communicate to each other from the inside of the fort, and you couldn’t hear it on the outside, even when yelling.

We stayed in a big house in Breckinridge for a company trip when I was working as an arborist out there. We pulled up to the house and the snow banks were 7-8’ tall. We had 4-5 grown @ss men working on the fort for a couple days. We fit 12 people in the main room with 6’ ceiling. Hallways, seating, candles. We brought our instruments in there, it was a blast!

If you want to catch them on a lake, French lake in Fairbault is full of them! Pretty much any weed line, and we have caught them on everything from drop shots/wacky rigs to crank baits.

BigWerm and Matt Moen, I am heading to Puerto Rico the first week in March! I’ve never been, any recommendations for tarpon guides? Staying in San Juan a couple of days then over to Palmas Del Mar area. Thanks!

Sorry, I missed the message. I don’t have them anymore.

I bought them at 1:30 today. I asked for 1/2 dozen…he gave me 20. I used 1 today and don’t plan to fish soon enough. They are in an Engel with aeration. Seems a shame to waste. Woodbury

Thats a solid bait hook up right there. Most places count out 5 for a half dozen these days

Indeed, I figured I would try and pay it forward.

I feel the same way as most of you, but with cocktails. I can’t stand paying $12-15 for an old fashioned that is made with mediocre bourbon/rye and WAY too sweet. I do it much better at home. Whiskey sours too…

I caught a 23” brook trout I’m debating for a replica. The bar in my mind was 24” but opportunities are hard to come by (and expensive).

Wow! Do you have a picture you could share!? I’m guessing it didn’t come from the lower 48…?

I’ve caught trout that look like that. In them it’s called whirling disease.

Round file, follow the guideline on the teeth for the correct angle. Flat file for taking the rakers down every 3rd sharpen or so.

Well, considering you may have drilled a hundred holes and fished depths ranging from 6-26 and “fished lots of different presentations from small jigs/flys with waxies to spoons and jigging raps. Always had a tip up or dead stick down with a plain hook and fathead”…you never settled into pattern or a pod of willing biters.

I’m going to guess you hit the McDonalds drive-thru for some McFish sandwiches for your Friday night fish fix. smirk

And we have a winner! Found small perch and sunny’s in shallow areas. Had a few real nice marks through the magic hour, off the end of the point. They would chase a spoon and the dead stick, but no commitment. Maybe as focused and hard as I have fished in a long time…sorry for the anti-climatic ending

I turn the brightness down as soon as I turn it on, which saves a ton of battery. I keep it just bright enough to see, which varies from blue bird(polarized shades) days vs. cloudy. Battery will jump up from 65-80%.

I agree with the Tom Boley support. He gives great advice, and presents it in a way that is great to watch. I would personally like to see someone do videos that focus on high pressure metro lakes. I am tired of seeing Mille lacs, LOTW, Devils, Red…it’s no surprise these are fish factories. Let’s see someone catch fish around shanty town on the croix, or on Tonka, Prior, cedar, forest. These aren’t precious unknown gems that you have to protect their identity. Let’s see someone master these spots. I don’t have the time/funds to get up to the factories, so this is what would be interesting to me. Do this, and I’ll smash/pound/hit your like/subscribe button!

No! Since you felt the need to ask tells us you really dont need it. Now that its taking up space at your home, ill gladly take it off your hands fir the price you paid. Ill even pay $100 fir shipping… whistling jester

Without a doubt, worth investing a couple hundred into. Even though its older technology, still a great unit

Funny guy! Still have to explain to wifey so, stay tuned…
