I’m not the best hunter but I might be the luckiest…

No more than got into stand. I look up the draw and that big boy was eating acorns. It 4pm. I grunt at him he heads my way but won’t completely commit. He angles up the hill and jumps fence now on property I can hunt. I shoot at him at 54 yards as he about to go up into cornfield.. as lick would have it I was rushing the shot nervous he is getting away and hit branches. He runs up into cornfield and gone.. completely missed him. Sitting in my tree now mad. Depressed kicking myself in the but.. I debated on getting down but decide to stay. It’s like 4:15 now.. about 10 mins go by I look up the draw and a small buck cuts down out of corn heads right to the acorn tree the big one was under.. 3 more nice bucks follow him down followed by the buck I just missed ten minutes ago. I grab my grunted grunt once. The small buck looks down hill towards me. I grunt one more time and here he comes. All five bucks walk single file line to my tree. The big boy coming in last. The rest is history..

Valdez AK. You can rent a boat take it out Yourself. Rent all your gear for whatever type fishing you wanna do. Explore glaicers. Sight see etc.

We did this this summer going again next summer.

Head down seaward hwy go see homer. Whitier ak there is a 2.5 mile tunnel three a mountain to get into town.

Take a farry from seaward to Valdez. Then Head up around north back to Anchorage.

You’ll need to book the farry now since they fill up. And none will be available if you wait..

Rent RV on outdoorsy.com. Best prices

My guess is your using to stiff a rod. You need a fast action lifht rod to pick up slack fast as raps are heavy. Walleyes headshake. So instant line is even close to slack there off. Try using a lighter rod with fast action.

I do lock ammo and my handgun in same case. But i add a barrel lock on handgun. And they simply open. Inspect. Place inspection card in case and move on

Ammo and gun supposed to be in separate checked bag.. gun must be locked. In a case. Ammo must be in a locked case. Have keys ready. You will need to open case to be inspected at time of checking bag.

Its realy simple. I fly with guns every year..

If you dont need a basement dont build one. Do a slab heated. No rocks will push up threw your slab. It will be heated. And if done corectly there no issue of leaks or under slab frot heaves.

I do dozens of both foundations and slabs every year. Im goint to be building in northern wi. Im doing a slab. Its cheaper and mor efficient with zero concern of failure.

    Good luck

Young.. well i understand. Reading a typed message is hard to interpret. But i agree and im for the most part happy with mn dnr. They do have a complicated job. And if we were in the same room having a discussion vs typing. You might have a different interpretation of what im trying to say. And im sure vise versa..

Any who.. . I dont agree with 2 major things and that is our cwd policy. And also our pike regs on nw mn and other areas. But that is another complicated conversation. Lol

I guess. Lets just agree to disagree.

Young. Im not sure what the cause is. Or even if there is a socalled outbreak..

Sure they test every deer or suposed to test every deer that is killed or dies over 16months of age in captive deer. So ya your testing nearly 100% of captive deer.

Only recently we started testing wild deer. And sure enouph we find cwd. Testing only started because we found some in captive deer. We have no old samples in mn. Or other states to compare to to prove there is this masive outbreak your so confused about.

So maybe captive deer contract it from wild deer? Im not saying they do. But there is absolutly no prof of a outbreak. And no one can say one way or the other with certainty where it came from.

Its all just opinion. You obviosly showed yours.

Maybe instead of attacking me cuz i mearly said lets not kill all our deer needlessly. Maybe you need to research.

They have plenty of study farms. To collect data from.

My point was maybe keep using common sense on herd management. For what the majority of hunters want.

Sure take samples. Try get accurate # of infected.

Just dont do these blanket zones andtry kill all the deer. This has proven to not work. Period

We spent a week for our family vacation here this summer.. trout fishing is out of this world. We caught hundreds and hundreds of lake trout. We caught one small one 24″ otherwise they were all 28″+ with a few just over 34″

Monty at Rock Creek marina is a great host. Although he may not be there in the winter. They claim ice fishing hundred fish days are common. From the marina you hav

e quick access to deep trout waters and also giant pike and walleye

We are planning to go out ice fishing this year.
