I have a 36 inch TUCR Vulcan and it is the perfect rod for an iFishPro. I don’t use it jigging just because I have other rods for that. I like that the eyelets are larger so it doesn’t move your bobber slip when reeling it in. I put 7lb fluorocarbon on it.

I owned one and I would not recommend. They are tough to set up alone and the 9 ice anchors are a pain when its windy. Even the Evoit is not fully insulated so it doesn’t hold heat all that well and its a larger size space to try and heat. I would recommend a thermal flipover over an evo. Learn from my mistake. Sold it and bought an pro thermal otter and its way better.

the rodboxes are overkill imo and insanely priced, i’m thinking the original Sportman’s Rodcase will become high in demand now.

You could be right about the old Sportsman’s case being in higher demand now, especially since it looks like they no longer offer them.

I checked their website and unless I’m missing something, I do not see them listed anymore. Only the new generation.

Which may work in my favor since I have one I’m going to sell being I hardly ever used it.

“Gently used” and at a substantial discount.

I am in the market to purchase an otter sportsmans rod case. shoot me an email. [email protected]
