Nick and the service and the parts man have been second to none.

Thanks againFebruary 27, 2013 at 11:00 pm #1146609I have a 2006 tourney sport 185 and love it. I talked to the President of Alumacraft to have them build me one and he said no. but if they get enough interest they would build some in the near future. I would buy one if they did it in 2014.

red had 4.5 volts
I pulled the fuse and cleaned the tabs off with emery paper and got 12.4 v
Every thing lights up thanks guysMarch 16, 2010 at 2:00 pm #854048Yes, I have power to both the red and yellow.
I will double check the fuses are good.
ThanksMarch 16, 2010 at 3:13 am #853935Yes I did hook up the yellow wire.
I tried both ways no change in results
Yellow to yellow of HDS unit
Also I put a switch inline the yellow and connected it to 12v posMarch 3, 2010 at 2:30 am #848359Thanks so far for the info.
I am still trying to understand,
I see two options to wire these systems —
1st option is to connect the yellow wires from my two hds8 to each with the LSS-1 yellow wire and run these to a switch and then to 12v pos.
Second option is to connect the yellow wires from the HDS8 to each other and hook up a seperate yellow wire from the LSS1 to a switch and then to 12v pos ?
Thanks for being patient I dont want to wreck anything at these prices.August 10, 2007 at 11:28 am #598772I called Lowrance tech support and this is what I found.LCX110c uses 1.7 amps with the lights on and 1.1 amps without lights. LCX28c uses 1.1 with lights on and 700 milliamps lights off. To compare a X15 black & white uses 850 Milliamps with the lights on and 700 milliamps without lights on. Thanks guys I was just trying to compare color vs black and white. THANKS
July 13, 2007 at 11:41 am #589815I have a 185 Tourney sport with a 150 yamaha 4 stroke and with my 17 pitch Aluminum prop I get 44 MPH . with my 19 pitch stainless I get 48 mph same conditions.
May 23, 2007 at 11:27 am #574068Here is the # I called LEI extras (800-324-0045) and ordered all my connectors for networking my LCX-110 and LCX-28. I had my parts within 4 days. I had to order a red to blue conector also. GOOD LUCK. Cabelas was no help at all, but in thier defence lowrance has mad this way to complex for the average guy.
