I shot my first deer with a model 99 in 300 savage. It also took the first deer for my father, my grandfather, and I’m pretty sure my great uncle…

Any offers? Otherwise I will be moving the boat to storage and put it back up for sale in the spring.

Yes it is a great boat. The only reason I’m selling is to upgrade to a couple year newer skeeter.

Could someone “in the know” post mileage between these landings/towns:
    Loman to Indus
    Indus to Manitou Rapids
    Manitou Rapids to Birchdale
    Birchdale to Frontier
    Frontier to Clementson

    Thanks!

I’m looking at either an 8, 9.9 or 15. Depends on what I can find for the right price…….It will be a 4 stroke, just looking for the right deal.

When you invest in silver, do you buy and then wait for it to go up to say $25/$30 an ounce and then sell? Or is it more of investment that’s neat?

The only reason I’m thinking about doing it is because a set of skeeter seats is about $450. And I can’t find used seats anywhere. I found this seat of ranger seats that the color actually matches my boat for $100 with the pedestals. So if I could get these ranger seats, to not be ranger seats, it would be a win win.

    The problems with that are:
    1) Then I have no graph at the bow when I’m up there riggin or jigging.
    2) On my skeeter, I don’t think there is enough room for both of them

    Question:
Did you just hook the new LED’s into the current lights? I really like the idea and if I could just switch out the current lights to LED’s, I would think that would be a fairly easy DIY.

I thought so too……I have asked a couple questions about my new-to-me skeeter boat, I don’t believe they have chimed in.

How about any pictures or insight on that era of Skeeter boats? I’m sure that era of 2050’s have the same dash setup as my 2002.

I looked the trailer bunk situation over last night and to correct the problem of the bunks sticking out, I would have to move the winch post towards the rear of the trailer 4 inches. If I move the winch post back 4 inches, will it cause a problem with trailering? Its a tandem axle trailer if that matters at all, and I did try to lift the tounge and it was pretty solid.

Do you think moving it back 2 inches will make how the trailer rides a problem?

The only thing bad/good about it was it was just a bare boat, so now I’m in search mode for graphs/bow-mount/rod-holders/etc/etc…..trying to decide what way to go with everything.

I too have the cabelas Line counters… Looking to upgrade prior to this season, does anyone have any input on the Abu Garcia line counters?? I had a chance to use them during a couple FLW tournaments, and they seem to be nice reels, real smooth feeling to them. The ones I used were all mono or braid, so I don’t know if they make a model capable of handling lead core. A

    Anyone use the Abu’s???

I have a question for your guys running tillers. I bought a 1890 Warrior this year sith Splash Guards, do covers go over the splash guards?? Or do they go down to the splash well before the splash guards?
