If you like light rail, you can hop on the green line from US bank or Target field and get off at Central Station. That’d be like 5 or 6 blocks from RiverCentre.
March 30, 2015 at 8:30 pm #1529075Blade baits put more fish in the boat than anything else for us on Saturday. Also threw some hair jigs, plastics, and Lindy rigs with some success. Fished from 5am to noon from the dam down to bay point park. The past few weeks had been nearly all walleyes, but Saturday was mostly small sauger for us.
July 20, 2010 at 9:52 pm #888173Been thinking about this since I heard this morning. Shocking and sad news..
Over the years Bob, you have become more than just a bait shop owner to me. You’re a good fishing buddy and friend. Whenever you want to get out on the water again give me a shout.

May 25, 2010 at 4:29 am #874721Bank sinkers are my fave, but I have an assortment of different styles(bank, flat bank, pyramid, no-rolls) in the cat box.

April 20, 2010 at 10:53 pm #865521I mainly use cutbait for channels. Cut shad, cut creek chub, cut sucker.

Am I the only guy here that uses flat banks??
Nope. I use them every once in a while. Regular bank sinkers have been getting the most use by me over the last couple years, but I have plenty of flat banks, no-rolls, and pyramids in the arsenal as well.

December 18, 2009 at 5:18 am #824378I own a Strikemaster and have been happy with it over the years. I’ve fished with a few guys in the last couple years that run the Nils Master, and have seen them in action…sweet augers for sure.

I have seen you can get 2 ducers for Vexilar. how does that work?
I think your talking about the 9/19 dual transducer. Its one transducer with a switch box that you can flip it from 9 to 19 degrees whenever the situation may call for it.
November 24, 2009 at 6:15 am #818058Like everyone else, I look forward to your posts! Looks like your having a blast with all that multi-species action out there.
November 24, 2009 at 5:59 am #818052I don’t always do it, but I try to keep a log. I have an app on my phone thats pretty cool and helps keep alot of my info.Information logged in the app includes GPS, weather, photo, audio, etc. Past trips and catches can be reviewed any time. Catches display on Google Maps too. Then when I’m home I can add it to the other online fishing log I use for future reference.
October 5, 2009 at 2:14 pm #806953Way cool! I might have to head down that way and check that out! Get some fishin’ in too…
