Last night? You said you were having lazy movie night jester

I did not catch these walleye. These were given to me from the neighbor because he didn’t want to clean them. So I reaped the benefits. I had a solid lazy night that night lol, I was sleeping way early didn’t last a quarter of our movie

Probably all those late night dirty pics you try to slip by bk

I was trying to post from my phone so that might have been the issue, but its worked before. I will email them to my pc and try again. They turned out amazing.

OK, lets try this again. Onion power, garlic powder, chipotle pepper and brown sugar. Then glazed with big green egg bourbon bbq sauce. One of my kids told me they didnt like sauce on ribs earlier so I didnt sauce one. Now no one confesses to being that person. Ugh.

My buddies wife picked up these Tomahawk Ribeyes from Manea’s Meats for his 40th. Pics don’t really do them justice for how massive they were, and yes they still look big. Took awhile to cook, but that was some of the best steak I’ve ever had!

Tomahawks are great but its kinda lame you pay for all that dang bone which is pointless. Cool thing to do for an occasion though. Those look fantastic!

I got one of those in my freezer that I recently bought on sale. I’ve never prepared one before. Do you just cook it on the grill like you would a regular steak? I feel like the outside might get a little crispy or black in order to get the inside cooked properly because its so dang thick. Open to any advice here, thanks.

How well done do you like your steaks done Gim? I think just rolling it like youd normally do would be fine, but I havent done one yet.

Depends on how thick it is. These were about 4″ thick, so my buddy cooked them on indirect heat and then seared them to finish. For rare/medium rare you want 100-110 and for medium you want about 120-130 pre-sear I believe. Make sure they are fully thawed, pre-seasoned and up to room temperature before cooking.

Good luck Gim if you try it. Medium rare is the best IMO. I never used to like read meat but now I basically just knock the horns off it.

Traded a buddy some Pheasant for some bear meat. This was Bear Ring Bologna and I’m not a fan of ring Bologna but this was delicious! I may have to try and hunt for bear because I’ve had steak from it and summer sausage and they have all been amazing.

I would like the recipe if your buddy has it. I’m going to try and take me a bear by archery this year

Not the best photo of the food but a photo of a dog sneaking her way in that got this Pheasant. Long story short I would never have got into Pheasant Hunting without her. Got her to be a good family dog and realized she came from a long line of Pheasant dogs. So decided to train her with no clue what I was doing but it’s been fun ever since! I’m now addicted to Pheasant Hunting and it’s all because of her!

Lol. That’s a solid no in my house. No dogs in the kitchen while we eat. They lay on the carpet to kitchen floor transition but not in the kitchen
