Gonna be up to Pepin next week for a few days. What has the trolling bite been like? We usually focus our efforts on the upper half of the lake. Does anyone know if the water is up enough to use Bay City Ramp and come out across Bay City Flats?

i was out sun, and mon. caught limits of both days average size was about 21 inches on the walleyes and 18 on the saugers all were caught pulling number 7 shad raps in various colors no certain color stood out more than any other all i can say is we didnt catch a fish on any crank that looked natural! i usually put in around 9 am and fished until whenever we were on the north end of pepin on the flats most common depth was about 12 to 15 feet with some fish coming in 4 feet of water hope this helps ya out! have fun with the sheepies too!
