Vermillion River

Hey guys, long time lurker first time poster.

I usually fish P2 but am looking to change it up and fish the Vermillion river over by Hastings from the shore for suckers and whatever else happens to be biting tomorrow morning. Can anyone point me to some spots or public land where I can do so? thanks

The upper river (above the falls) is mostly private property with a few public parks that it flows through. Probably get some sucker, chubs and trout in the upper river. The lower river can be accessed at the park in Hastings. Prepare to walk steep cliff/hills to access the river at that park. Lower river has pretty much everything that is in the Mucksissippi. There are a few public landings south of Hastings that you can access the river from as well.
