Tilt and Trim problem

In the last month I have noticed that my tilt and trim toggle switch is not working well when trying to go down. Going up is not a problem. I thought for sure it was just a bad switch, but since then I have checked out the switch on both ends and it is fine. I hear the clicking but nothing happens. Just curious of other thoughts that might be the problem? Pump going bad? Any thoughts?

Most likely your down relay. Bad ground on the motor can also cause this. My pump went out last fall, when they go, nothing moves. The pump would be under more stress lifting the motor, so going up would likely cause problems. Switch out the relays and see if the problem goes to the other direction.
