Spirit Lake 08/09/06

    Fished at Spirit Lake today from 1:00-5:30. Ended up with 4 keeper walleye (1 14″, 2 15″ and 1 18″) and a few short fish. All fish were caught trolling lead core and #4 Jointed Shad Raps. All the keepers were caught from 1:00 to 2:00.

    First decent report I’ve heard off of Spirit in awhile. Maybe we’re getting closer to the fall bite. Thanks for the update

    was up on the grade last sunday, the kid at the bait shop said a few had been picked up in the AM on leeches, I knew it was past prime time. Any other shore fishing options, I don’t want to drag my boat all the way just to fish a few hours with the kids, and I have’nt fished the lake since I was a kid. Also what is the slot size and limit? Thanks
