was out on big spirit last week and got in to the walleyes 13 to 17 inches and one small Muskie in the north east bay. Was casting No. 5 clown or fire tiger husky jerk into the reeds and along the edges. The water was about 5 foot. There where a lot of trailers that would follow but not bite so the trick might have been having some live bate.

    moem,
Glad to hear you got into some fish. Angler’s Bay is kind of a fun place. You may be right on the meat
I have to ask, isn’t NW Iowa a bit far from Rhode Island?

Yes RI is a bit far, I grew up in Algona and as a kid went camping and fishing there… My sons live in Iowa and so I try to get back as often as I can. If I could I would move back but great jobs are hard to come by!

    You sure got that right.
Glad you can get back to visit your sons, that ranks right up there with fishing
