Got a pair living right in the back yard this year in the clover plot. They are showing up on cam almost every day.

Very cool pic! I pulled over to watch this group of 4 this past weekend. They’re neat birds.

August 7, 2018 at 3:46 pm #1790107They’re the kind of birds that convince you that they used to be dinosaurs. Especially when they start squawking and yelling. Cool picture!

[/quote]Go to ND and buy a license. There is a season for them out there.
Tom SawvellInactivePosts: 9559August 7, 2018 at 8:54 pm #1790168They are beautiful birds and their song is something else. Ma and I were camping in a Wyoming [state] campground for a night and there was a sanctuary right next door where maybe three hundred of these birds called home for the summer. They talks all night long.

September 10, 2018 at 7:21 am #1796549Billy and I saw a huge flock of them in a field by the highway on Saturday. We’ve never seen so many at once! They really are neat looking birds and do have a prehistoric look to them.
September 14, 2018 at 8:09 pm #1797652They are thick in north branch area. 4 to 6 in every field and they line the shore lines and scream or what ever messed up call they have while we are out fishing. Watching them they are very aggressive to the other birds in the area.

September 18, 2018 at 11:25 am #1798208Conference going on outside my bedroom window right now.
