    BHM i had one of the pocket fisherman.I don’t remember it being to good for distance.I should have one now for flipping under trees.
    I remember seeing some of those whirlaway’s did not know they had a name.

    My first reel was a Sheakspeare Wondercast on a Berkeley Cherrywood rod. Still have them and they are in working order. It’s now a decoration at the cabin.

    I still have my first 2 rods and reels. 2nd was a green Johnson Century and the 1st was a Whirlaway Great Lakes “75” I believe.
