    According to Dean Capra his father Ted Capra had passed away Wednesday night.

    Met him several times over the years. Always treated a guy like an old friend. If you have never been there, stop in at Capra’s and check out the trophy wall. Amazing !

    R.I.P. Ted. Like Jon said he always treated a guy right. He was at the forefront of the BASS scene in Minnesota for years.

    Went into capras to buy some anchor rope, 200′ going to Canada lake trout fishing deep water. Talked to Ted about my plans he encouraged me that he thought I was on the right track. Expected him to call out some young guy to cut me my anchor rope but no he got the counter, hooked it up and reeled off 200′. Never would have thought less of him if he called out a young guy to do it, never forget he did it himself.
