My mother in law passed away on Thursday. It is a blessing because she was suffering. My poor wife and daughter stayed with her in the hospital for the last days. My wife is an only child and this has been very hard on her, they were very close. The viewing is today and the funeral tomorrow. I’m there for her but I wish I could do more to ease her pain.

That’s the best thing you can do right now, offer an ear and a shoulder to lean on. My wife was an only child also and it took her some time to get over losing her mother. Prayers of comfort for your family.

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts it is very much appreciated. It was comforting to see friends and family at the viewing who had great stories to tell of my mother in law. A lot of the stories I hadn’t heard before even though I had been in the family for 30 years. She will be missed.
