The bag that came with my Eskimo hub shelter is pretty well shot. Looking for a replacement, preferably over sized and heavy duty. Considering trying to find someone to sew one up, but not sure who would do such a thing. Anybody ever replace one before?

Thrift store and get lucky on a snowboarding bag will do.

I sort of plan on putting a zipper on my Eskimo Fatfish 949i carry bag. I personally never liked the stuff sack pull string enclosure on the end there.

There’s some huge duffle bags out there. Google is your best bet in this case.

I have a large one that worked well for an Otter Lodge hub I owned and sold on IDO in 2016. I’ll never try to jam a half-frozen, ice-crusted hub into a tiny bag again. It’s a fool’s errand.

    I believe it’s 40″ long and I paid $30 for it.

I’m in the same boat. The Eskimo bag is really big (64″ long and 16-18″ diameter). I’m having a hard time finding a replacement.

I bought a new clam thermal for a trip to LOW during the last cold snap. The clam bag is definitely nicer than the Eskimo bag and I wouldn’t hesitate to replace the Eskimo with one.

Call Shappell, their bags are night and day more robust than the Clam bag. The bag for their 6500 hub should fit the 949I just fine.

Yep it sure will Dan, the clam 4000t comes with that bag and the 949i is smaller than that so should be no problem.
