    I had the pleasure of fishing with Tim Drascic from Wisconsin today.Tim was in the area doing a little pre-fishing for the RCL League Championship on Sept 5 & 6th.We spent alot of the day going over water,dropping the Aqua-View and looking at what was down there.All we could find were huge schools of gills.We started to live bait rig in 25-35′ of water first.It was slow with 3 smallmouth and 1 big gill.After this we worked crankbaits and bouncer/spinner combo’s in 35-45′ of water.We did get 1 small walleye and a northern.We will be out on the water again in the morning.We had to deal with a 30 mph today which made it a little rough!

    That picture is a little fuzzy!! Here is one of the northern,hope it’s better.
