New Mexico Cow hunt

I just got the draw for The Valle Vidal cow hunt in New Mexico for November 19th – 23rd and was wondering if anyone would have an idea if they would be located down low or high at that time of year? This would be my first elk hunt and would like a general idea where to start. I have two days before season to scout but I am looking for a place to start that will save time. This is in the Carson National Forest next to Ted Turner’s Property in Northern New Mexico. Thank you for any help.
