Fished Menomin from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Headed up the river first for bass & northern. Picked up 2 bass, a 15 3/4″ and an 17 1/2″, one on a jig & one on a spinnerbait. Also got 2 northerns, a 23″ & a 25″. Went to the lake for a little trolling action. Had a hard time keeping 6 lines in the water. We caught 1 bluegill, 1 crappie, 1 perch, 3 northerns – 2 short & 1 30″, 2 smallmouth – 1 short & 1 just over 14″, 4 walleyes – 2 short, 1 16″ & 1 18″. All fish caught trolling were on #4 & #5 raps. Color didn’t seem to matter. I knew we were pretty busy catching fish last night, but after writing it all down we had quite an action-packed 3 hours!

Hey Coot, are you longlining or running boards? The bite for me switched to live bait rigging. Still picking up decent fish on the flats, but the crank bite for me is off. Thanks, Don.

Doing both, Don. With 2 guys we were running 2 boards and one flatline per side to maximize our spread.
