Last night while sitting in a deer stand the geese were pouring over the cut corn. After an hour sit in the stand this morning I am now in a make shift blind in the cut corn with some really old Canada wind socks. My blind and full bodies are all up at the farm. Gotta make due for now.
I could have headed that way with the full bodies and an extra blind…

Geese were all over this field last night. I am hoping the last 20 minutes they come back.

Not hard to believe, but the geese showed up 5 minutes after sunset and in good numbers again. Ducks were there with about 20 minutes left in shooting hours, but not the geese. Might have to try again tonight.
Try again, got 18 full bodies out plenty early. See what happens. My yellow lab Nellie is starting to lose faith

Beautiful morning to sit in the goose blind. Cool clear light wind at my back. Hopefully they didn’t all head south.
