I'm getting blocked

Why??

I tried to reply to the duffel bag thread with the Boyt brand and was blocked.

Yet this seems to go through ok,,,,?

Denny, try again. I just replied and looks like it is working fine. BTW, There is no way to block post replies. Either the thread is locked OR user is banned.

Good to know. I thought it was cuz he is from Iowa.

I’ve been having issues with replies lately as well. I typically have to click reply a few times before it will actually go through. Same with most other buttons/internal links on this site as well.

Ah HA! See Duchie, It’s not just us Iowegian’s, it happens to your own kind too!

I hit submit reply and then have to refresh the page to see if it went through or not.

I’ve noticed when I reply to a post it takes a bit for it to actually post. but other then that no issues…..yet.

This wasn’t an issue about the time that it took, it always takes a while. It just told me I was blocked. As in not worthy.

You wouldn’t be able to post here if you were blocked.

Can you send me a screen shot? FB Messenger will work or a text message.

Ya next time it happens. It only happened that one post that I was trying to respond to. I tried to respond 2 or 3 times. Blocked each time. So I came to here and asked, as soon as this thread allowed me to post I figured it was a glitch of some sort.

I believe if you were blocked you would be logged out and not be able to log back in. Sometime post take longer to load and you could have been timed out?

Normally those come up as a 404 error from what I’ve seen.

I was hoping it said “Denny O, you’ve been blocked!”

I’ve had that problem and hit, “submit” again and the post is still not there, but I think it just takes time occasionally.

Joe there was an issue in that thread. Fixed now.

I’ve putzed around with the posting “delay”. The site actually accepts the post rather quickly, it’s returning the poster back to the page (to view the post) that takes a while.

I can’t post a reply to the salted shiner thread.

i’m not aware of getting blocked, but……..i just started a new thread…it took forever, finally said it timed out. i went and looked at MSN’s news, came back and it posted???????

just my experience i had this morning.

ive had issues too. ive actually had times where i write a response to a post and click submit like 6x over and over. refresh browser and nothing changes. then i go and type something different and it works.

another separate issue is sometimes replies take foreeevvvver to load onto the page. images are even worse. seems to have started a few months ago. i figured i was the only one.

It’s not that he’s from Iowa, it’s just that Iowa only has dial up powered by windmills and pig “energy” that causes delays in uploading….I heard…
