    The Illinois is above flood stage right now. It has come up 8ft. in three days Lots of debris and swift currents.

    That’s probably a good thing. Maybe with a lot of the flooding done early there won’t be refrigerators and dead cows floating for the MWC this year.

    wow is right. thats a heck of a jump in 2 days!!
    on the other hand, i hope wim is right. might as well flush em out now and maybe we can have some good spring fishing for a change.

    Yah The creek is moving pretty good with the meltoff and rain we had. It will settle down in a week or so. Not too bad actully,it`s been alot worst. I fished that MWC, nothing like that tho. I fished the IL. for 25years and that was the worst for junk in the river. They were lucky the wind didnt blow.
