Fall Fishing

Was able to get my final few hours of 2011 open water fishing in yesterday. Walleyes were nowhere to be found, tried all my hotspots but only caught one 15 incher…Bass on the otherhand were incredible, must have caught 30 fish and all seemed to be at least 2 pounds, with a few 3+ skattered in, it was a blast.. Not sure what the deal is with the Walleyes?? They are typically heavy biters this time of year..

Rainy River and LOW were slow last weekend as well. Shiners are in the river, but the bite wasn’t what we expected. Lots of boats running up and down the river trying to find a consistent hot spot.
