HDS Carbon Ice Fishing Setup

I’m interested in putting together a setup for an HDS Carbon 7. Have any of you used your HDS units for ice fishing (Carbon or Live)? What’s worked for you and what hasn’t? Also…which transducer and kit would you get from Lowrance I’d you went that route?

I simply bought the Lowrance ice ducer and a Gentz blue box to mount mine on. I have a HDS7 gen 2.

I have been using my HDS Live 7 for ice fishing. I got the Lowrance Elite Ice kit and the Transducer it comes with works good with the unit.

I did get rid of the battery it came with and bought an Amped Outdoors 18aH lithium battery.

I’ve got a 10ah Lithium battery. How long do you think that will last?
