Thank you to all that have served but specifically we memorialize those that have lost their lives so that we can continue to live free. Hopefully everyone takes a few moments today to remember all of our fallen soldiers.

Remembering my father and uncle who served in the Pacific during WWII.

Thanks Dad, I sure miss you.May 31, 2021 at 12:10 pm #2039947Ever since I can remember I’ve always been amazed at the concept that our freedoms, our country, and our way of life have come from men and women sacrificing their lives every few generations to keep what we have. I know a few names etched in various memorials and remember the circumstances surrounding their deaths, and to make that kind of sacrifice for our country…there’s just nothing to describe it.
I think it’s true that a lot of them would want people to enjoy our time, but I also think it’s important that each and every American think about where our country and it’s greatness came from today as well as every other day.

We were out in the pontoon and this veteran landed by us and said he’s looking for riders so my wife went up.
Her Dad was a pilot on ww2 and korea.
He passed away one year to the day.
Amazing!Attachments:
