The family and I will be staying on Gunflint Lake next week. Every year we usually go up and kayak the lakes along the Gunflint Trail. This year I am bringing my big boat up with us. Just looking for some decent lakes to fish besides Gunflint with good landings for the big boat. Also any recommendations on techniques this time of year on Gunflint for Lakers and Walleyes.

I like crescent lake also four mile lake and toohey lake . Heading up in just over a month , right now i would fish slip bobbers and crawler harnesses
four mile and toohey are great lakes but south of the gunflint west of tofte. four mile is a great walleye lake and if you can find’em…BIG crappies.
Toohey is a b*tch to get on with a big boat as the landing is very shallow a looong way out but great walleye fishery!
4 mile has a beautiful campsite on the island!
