February 19, 2009 at 5:41 pm #750432here is another quick update, we are making some baby steps as far as progress goes. the nurses can now sense the oxygen in her fingertips and toes, she isn’t blue anymore, she actually looks human again. she is looking good and getting some great rest. maybe I need to get sick and have them put me down for a 7 day nap. I could use that right now. I am onto my 8th wind for the 30+ hour day.
Again, thanks for all of the support, you guys have no idea what this means to me and my family. but please continue to pray for her, she isn’t out of the woods yet!
thanks a ton!

February 19, 2009 at 6:30 pm #750470Prayers continuing. I’ve been through some pretty tough times with our daughter at Minneapolis Childrens and St Paul Childrens. Wonderful people to work with, and she couldn’t be in better hands.

February 19, 2009 at 11:26 pm #750573hope you don’t mind, Shane, but I shared the link to this thread with a bunch of people I know and asked them all to lift her and you and your family up in prayer… you have a lot of voices calling out to angels right now!
February 20, 2009 at 12:03 am #750582before I left the hospital, I got this good bit of news from the hospital. she has strep type A and puenmonia at the same time and her little body couldn’t handle fighting it so it caused toxic shock syndrom. so the little miricles starting happening from the clinic on.
we are not out of the woods yet, she is stabil and showing improvements but still critical. if you want to, you can go to this webpage and sign her guest book.
Again, thanks to this family for all of the prayers and thoughts. Its means alot to me and my family.
thanks
