Prayers for your family, keep us posted.
Now that I have a family of my own, It sends my stomach into knots worring about my family and friends.
I rarely post about the prayers I send, but I always send them.

I just went thru this same identical thing with a grandson of about the same age less than a month ago and he is home now safe and playing with his brother and sisters.

February 19, 2009 at 12:46 pm #750273Your daughters life is the most precious gift from God! We lift her up in prayer and you and your family also.
timmyPosts: 1960February 19, 2009 at 1:13 pm #750281ok here is a quick update since my last post. she did flat line again last night around 11:30. they moved her to MPLS childrens and they have her hooked up to a egma (SP) machine that puts oxygen into her blood and pumps it back into her little body. I have not eaten or slept and can’t stand to see her just laying there. although the good news is that she is stabil but still critical! it is hard for me to sit here and type this out as I look around the house and see all of her stuff where she left it. I know that the Lords plan is perfect no matter if we understand it or not, but I hope he don’t take this baby from me too.
it is awsome getting this type of support in a time of crisis in my life, thanks for taking the time to pray for our family and I pray that no one else has to go through this pain.

February 19, 2009 at 1:54 pm #750302Shane,
As a father of four, my heart goes out to you and your family… seeing one of your own children in any state of sickness or pain is a terrible thing. My prayers to you and that lovely daughter. May God help you and help her recover.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
