I have owned a Cannon Mini Mag downrigger since the Spring of 2005 which has yet to see any use. In order to justify the expense of this toy, I have promised myself that this year it is going to get its initation. Anybody use downriggers in the pursuit in Eyes? I would appreciate any info that you experts might impart, such as preferred lures, amount of line back from the cannon ball and type of line, rod, reel etc. Thanks!
