A wet and windy weekend on Big Stone. Seems like the walleyes are very scattered right now. Caught fish from 7-14’of water. Caught fish in 14′ on the north part of the lake by pulling spinners. Caught fish shallower on the south end in 9-12′. Once again pulling spinners. Gold spinners seem to be the ticket for us the last 2 yrs. Speed also a little faster than normal 1.4-1.8mph.
Back home now, drying the rain gear and enjoying some fresh fish.

Good report. Big Stone can be such a tough lake to fish when the winds pick up as well as a year where vegetation growth is ahead of normal. Right now spinner patterns are working in the dakotas, as well as fish are starting to hit cranks. I am personally waiting for the water to get a tidge bit warmer and really get them fish chasing cranks hardcore.
