ICE FREE LAKES???

    Are there any ice free lakes in the Fairbault/Waterville area yet. Is Cannon all open now? Thanks Bill

    The ice is close to being out on Tetonka and Sakatah. The ice went completely out on Cannon Thursday 4-5-02. The water is still low but has come up alittle. Won’t be long and the panfish action should start on the area lakes if the temps start going up like the weather man says. Right now the action is below the different dams from Morristown through Fairbault. Casting jigs and live bait are catching some crappies and sunfish. Come on spring! Bill
