IS THE ICE OFF OF THE River/LAKES YET?

    Hello, was wondering if the ice is off of the Cannon River Chain Lakes yet. If not, any idea how soon and what the ice condition is? Thanks, Bill

    I drove to St. Peter today…. the only blue I saw was sky! All the lakes are covered with ice yet. I did get to see the new Alumacraft they are making! Nice the way they have it set up.

    Drove over to Cannon and it was a good half of the way open. The water level was low. Talked to Lyle at Fairbault Bait and Tackle and he said they need rain as the lakes over there are 2 1/2 ft. low right now. Cannon sure looked good with the amount of open water it had so spring is coming. Bill
