    Just saw a group of 5 Canada gosling’s in my pond, this is one of the earliest times I have seen them

    Saw some Sunday April 30 in the west metro. Earliest I ever remember seeing them.

    My wild ducks are breeding early too I have two black duck eggs, some goldeye and wood duck eggs in the incubator now

    At my in laws place near Webster mn they have nesting sand hill cranes in their slough. They hatched on May 2. Very cool to watch them on their nest in the cattails.

    I already saw a couple Mallard Ducklings in the pond by my place in the south metro…very early indeed. Gives them more time to grow!
