when tying crawler harness for Green Bay, what is the best trailer hook, a single #2 or a #6 treble as is freq used on Winnebago?

depends on if you are running them on bouncers or behind boards up off the bottom. If you are running them close to the bottom and the boat slows from a wave, as the harness gets near bottom, the treble will pick up zebra mussles. I quit running a treble on the back on Winnebago when pulling bouncers for that reason.

Most folks I know use #4 good quality hooks…2 or 3 on a crawler harness for the Bay.

I will use both depending on the bite. I usually start with two Lazer sharp octopus hooks. The big thing on the bay is to set your hooks about 3-4″ apart.
