Lowrance X-15 problem – Corruption Error Message

    I had my boat out on P4 a week or so ago and noticed an error message when I powered up my graph. The message read something like “Corrupted Operating System” . I powered it off and rebooted and it worked fine. I though it might have been because it was cold out (~20F).

    Then, on Saturday I jumped back in the boat to pull some coordinates off the unit and it came up with the same message three times in a row and I can’t get it to boot up. I’ll try to post the entire message tomorrow when I get home, but I’m worried that it might be FUBAR’d

    HELP! (please)

    Not sure, try bringing it in the warm and letting it warm up, then back out to the boat, pull and save all waypoints if you can, she may be on her way out, I don’t know, I know lowrance will not fix those units anymore. Maybe if you aren’t running the most current version of the software you could attempt to upgrade it, if you get it working again….
