I was getting a new bumper at Scheel’s yesterday because my 18 month old lab chewed the other one up, and I asked the associate about a simple sure for hardmouth. The guy told me to add about 10 to 15 zipstrips to the dummy and leave about an 1/8 to 1/4 inch after cutting off the excess strip.
I’ve searched the internet and one guy said to fasten two scrub brushes back to back and use that as a training dummy.
Anyone else got any ideas?
I have been using the zip ties, they work for that bumper but she still get a little agressive with the plain bumper. Good luck, let us know if you find somthing. 
Use a training buck and teach the dog to hold. You can buy a training buck or make your own using a wooden dowel. I make my own and wrap them in cloth. Once the dog is properly holding the dowel, you can switch to bumpers and then to birds.
