Crankbait depth

    Hello,
    Is there a way to get an approximate depth a certain crankbait will dive ?
    I have accumulated around 24 crankbaits over the last 20 years and I can’t remember what each is supposed to run.
    I understand a giant 4″ lip will dive deeper than a 1/4″ lip, but I guess is there any mathematical calculation one can use to get a rough estimate ?

    Since speed and set back all play a factor, think about finding a sandy bottom and testing some under the conditions that you usually fish.
